The 2024 Boring Marathon is once again a Boston Qualifier!
We will do our part and officially time the marathon, provide fantastic aid stations, give you the most outstanding, supportive, cheering, well-groomed and darn good-looking volunteers in the world, and make it a truly Boring experience that we know will forever be your favorite marathon this side of Estacada. Come join us, won't you, please.
2024 registration is open. Woohoo! You can use the link to go to RunSignUp and register for a race! Prices are still cheap (seriously, compare to any other races out there), but we did have to raise them a little this year. And we have goats, and slugs on the trail...potentially lots of slugs. We will have bagels at the end this year...lots of bagels.
If you are a return runner, a member of Marathon Maniacs, Half Fanatics, 50-State Marathon Club (and Half Marathon Club), or Eastwind Running and Endurance, contact us to get a discount code.
Register early, register often, register for the same race many times, we don't care (although we will only give you one finisher award). As usual, we will have finisher medals, a Boring tech race shirt, custom bibs, lots of food and drinks at the end, and just a great time. We will also have another kid's mile, where all kids 12 and under can run a mile and get a ribbon, for free.
As always, remember that all proceeds (and we mean everything this race brings in) goes to our middle school and high school track & field and cross country teams, so the kids benefit. This race is completely run by volunteers, so please thank them.
We certainly hope you can join us. We will try to be better about updating this page more often from now until the race so you know what is happening and what you are missing if not coming.
See other tabs above for registration, route info, volunteer/donate/sponsor info, and history/slide show - from your phone this is accessed from the triple line button at the top of this page.

Run for a purpose - The Boring races are all entirely non-profit and all proceeds, outside of the basic costs to put on a quality event, go to the Sam Barlow High School Track & Field and Cross Country Teams and the West Orient & Damascus Middle School Track & Field teams. The folks who put this on are all volunteers who love running and love our kids. So when you register, sponsor, or donate you help cover costs for race permits, medals, shirts, food and drink, etc., and then all the rest goes to the kids. We are building the next generation of runners and your participation in this event will make their high school running experience one that will hopefully influence their lifestyle for the next 50 years. Thanks for investing in the future of our kids and in our sport.
Respect the run - Just a personal note: In my opinion, no matter the activity, whether motorcyclists, horse riders, bicyclists, or runners, those of us who share the roads and trails with others are diplomats for our sport. If we act poorly and do not respect traffic and drop litter and act unprofessional, then that reflects on all of us and people will think poorly of us as a group. Please respect the run. Thanks.
